Visioning Liberation with Dr. Melina Abdullah

The Eberly Center is proud to partner with Toledo Lucas County Public Libraries for our 2020 Women’s History Month Keynote on women in politics with Dr. Melina Abdullah, a community organizer and recognized expert on race, gender, class, and social movements.

The event will begin with Dr. Abdullah’s talk on the significance of black women’s voting and political work. Following her talk, Dr. Abdullah will provide a workshop on how to move beyond political resistance toward a new vision of liberation. Workshop seating is limited, registration is required.

This event is wheelchair accessible.
No cost for entry and free parking included.
