Join us for our first spotlight session with Toledo Area activist, educator, and filmmaker Ruth Leonard. Ruth’s presentation will center Black women’s voices during various activist movement and creates a space in which white women’s privilege and Black women’s double consciousness is acknowledged and dissected in order to uplift the historic struggles of Black Women in the quest for individual Freedom from slavery to WAP.
