It takes a lot of passion and drive to sustain a business through the many challenges we face as owners. Tobie Saad is the owner of Body Defined Pilates Studio! “My ideal client is a soulful, multi-passionate creative who desires the CALM, open, brightness which comes from healing without becoming unrecognizable to themselves so that they may fully remember and EXPERIENCE the currency their POWER, as FOCUS and FLOW in every area of their life. . . . for those who desire to FIND their way HOME in a world that capitalizes upon those who are lost. . . .for those who hold spaces for others and DESIRE TO INCREASE their CAPACITY for grounding the charge of these times with INTEGRITY, ease and pluck, so that they are RENEWed + effervescent in their roles, rather than harvested, overwhelmed and scrambling to RESOURCE themselves every 24 hours.”

Tell us about yourself! What makes you, “you”?

My work is 💯 client-led. I am unabashedly quirky and playful, yet ever-vigilant, in creating a safe, space for my clients to access their power to completely transform themselves and their lives.

Describe your business/services and then tell us about what brought you to creating this business and why you’re passionate about it.

I help people find their way in a world that capitalizes upon those who are lost.

What goals do you have for your business in the future?

Scaling my business is a big goal for the next 12 months. This includes: online self-service courses for energetic cleanliness and psychic ethics IRL monthly classes.

What is your proudest achievement?

Being a mother of three.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a business owner and how did you overcome it?

Capacity Building! I started this work over 2 decades ago. At that time, frequency and vibration were not part of everyday conversation.

What advice would you give to a woman looking to start a business or get into a leadership role? Is there one thing that has helped you specifically?

Surround yourself with a community that supports you. Make friends with people who are willing to honestly encourage your evolution as a business owner. Commit to a small group of biz besties who are excited about their businesses and who desire to clearly nourish each other’s growth. Take classes to fill in your knowledge/expertise gaps. Keep going and rest when you need to renew mind, body and spirit.

What made you want to join HerHub?

I desire to expand my reach, collaborate and connect with other women biz owns. I also have proof of concept (after over 2 decades of work) and desire to build my sales and marketing know-how.

Why do you feel it’s important to collaborate and empower other women?

We are all in this together. One of my business mottos is: as the tide rises, all ships rise.

If you could recommend one resource (book, podcast, quote, class, website, etc.), that has helped you in life or in business, what would it be and why?

“Every breath is an opportunity to change your life forever.” Change is the only thing that we can count on: growth and evolution is never-ending AND we cannot get it wrong. We ALWAYS have an opportunity to course correct.

We love spreading love to other woman-owned businesses and we bet you do too.  Give a shout out here to your favorite, local, woman-owned business (besides your own)!
