Tell us about yourself! What makes you, “you”?

Overly independent perfectionist finds freedom at 40! It’s so good, I can’t keep it up myself.

Describe your business/services and then tell us about what brought you to creating this business and why you’re passionate about it.

Our mission is to provide resources and tools to keep citizens productive. I’m passionate about providing personal and professional growth because most of us are just doing the best we can with what we have and we don’t know what we don’t know. When I get to train, coach and lead someone to a new perspective, that’s freedom.

What goals do you have for your business in the future?

We focus on personal and professional development in health and wellness, recovery and leadership. I hope to grow in each area.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a business owner and how did you overcome it?

My biggest challenge was pivoting from administrative to creative. I had to get out of my administrative comfort zone and get creative to develop curriculum, programs, etc. I now have a registered coaching curriculum and 3 books in progress.

What advice would you give to a woman looking to start a business or get into a leadership role? Is there one thing that has helped you specifically?

Have a dependable team surrounding you with strengths that are different than yours.

What made you want to join HerHub?

I love what HerHub stands for, the resources it provides and the positive impact it has on our community.

Why do you feel it’s important to collaborate and empower other women?

You don’t know what you don’t know and with the brilliant minds of HerHub, we have access to so many experiences that adds value to each one of us.

If you could recommend one resource (book, podcast, quote, class, website, etc.), that has helped you in life or in business, what would it be and why?
